Terms and Conditions for Crusade  PROMOTION POINTS


There is no charge to become a registered ‘Promotion Point’ for the board game Crusade. Promotion Points do not; buy, sell, order, deliver or stock Crusade. Processing client orders and supplying the game is handled directly by Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd.
The named ‘introducer’ will receive a gratuity for every order processed using their unique identification number. Orders can be made by post using the discount voucher or online by quoting the voucher identification number in the [redeem voucher] area of the 'Crusade' web site www.crusade.co.uk

By applying to become a 'Promotion Point' for the product 'Crusade', you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Dealing with the product
The 'Promotion Point' is not permitted to:

  1. Take or process any orders for 'Crusade'
  2. Receive any payments towards an order for the product.
  3. Accept any payments for the product on behalf of Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd.

2. Eligibility
Becoming a 'Promotion Point' is by invitation only. If you have not been approached directly by Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd., you may not apply. This offer is not open to individuals that do not have an association with a currently trading UK based and registered business.

3. Display equipment
Each 'Promotion Point' will be issued with a voucher display holder (footprint size approx 2½" x 4½"), initially containing 100 'Crusade' £5 discount vouchers each containing their own unique identification code.

  1. The voucher display stand can only be used to promote the product ‘Crusade’.
  2. The display stand and all unissued discount vouchers remain the property of Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd. and must be returned to Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd. upon request.

4. Identification code
Each discount voucher contains the unique code issued to the 'Promotion Point' - this code cannot be transferred or assigned to another person or business.

5. Discount vouchers

  1. The 'Promotion Point' can only display the vouchers it has been allocated. (The display stand shows the identification number of the vouchers it contains)
  2. A voucher is only redeemable when presented to Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd. and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
  3. The voucher must be used at the time of placing an order to qualify the 'Promotion Point' for the £5 introduction reward cheque.
  4. The voucher is not necessary when an order is placed online, however the unique identification number must be used if the £5 discount is to be claimed by the person placing the order and the introduction to be attributed to the 'Promotion Point'.
  5. Vouchers cannot be altered or modified in any way.
  6. Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd will, in consideration that all the terms and conditions have been complied with, process every order made before the programme closing date. Such closing date to be reviewed from time to time and ultimately determined by 'the Company' at its sole discretion, taking into account to honour any ongoing transactions.
  7. Each voucher bears a secondary batch number showing how many vouchers the promotion point has been issued. Replacement discount vouchers are supplied upon request and are free of charge as long as there has been a response of at least one order per batch. If there is no response from a batch of 100 vouchers within 3 months, we will collect the leaflet display holder and deactivate the remaining vouchers. We will honour our commitment to make gratuity payments for vouchers presented that produce an order within the following 3 months after the removal of the display.

6. Gratuity payments

  1. The registered recipient of the gratuity payment is not employed by Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd.
  2. The culmination of all processed orders within each month will result in one gratuity cheque, which will be issued on or about the 1st Tuesday of each month and made out exclusively to the person or business registered on the 'Promotion Point' application form as ‘the introducer’.
  3. Payments are made for each introduction that is eligible and completes an order. Note an order qualifying as a new introduction can only be made to each UK address ONCE. Multiple introductions to the same address are void.
  4. A introduction will only be deemed to have become a new customer for the purposes of these terms and conditions at the time the order is completed, delivered and retained by that customer for a time immediately after the expiry of the 7 day return and refund period.
  5. Payments will be authorized and posted to the 'Promotion Point' address and marked for the attention of the introducer within 28 days from this point, not withstanding postal strikes or acts beyond our control.

7. Remedies for your non-compliance
If 'The Company', determines at its sole discretion that you have not complied with these terms and conditions, it may, in addition to any other rights and remedies it may have against you, immediately and without notice to you, withdraw all benefits to you and your 'introductions' under this programme.

8. Limitation of liability for Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd
To the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd, nor any of its associated companies, affiliates, directors, employees or representatives will be liable for damages arising from or in connection with the 'Introduce-a-Friend' Programme. This limitation of liability applies to ALL damages of any kind, whether direct, indirect or consequential, be that damage actual or implied, including loss of data, loss of property or damage to property, loss of income or profit and all claims of third parties.

9. Conventions of privacy
Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd., respects the privacy of all our clients and those introduced as potential clients. We agree to make every reasonable effort to keep secure all personal information divulged to us no matter how obtained. We will not pass onto any other organization outside Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd., any information about any client without that client's explicit permission. We accept no responsibility for the security of any links made to third party websites through www.crusade.co.uk. We accept no liability for the security of information transmitted to us prior to our receipt of it. On the grounds that Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd., is committed to protecting its customers privacy, you will not be notified if it is discovered that a proposed referral is already one of their existing customers, nor will it divulge which of your introductions has or has not placed an order for the game.

10. Collection and storage of credit card details
As required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998 we enforce security measures safeguarding the storage and prevention of unauthorized access to confidential information given to us.

11. Returns and refunds policy
Undamaged and unopened items can be returned for full credit within 7 days of their delivery. The return postage is the responsibility of the sender and must be sent by recorded delivery. The product must be returned in its original protective packaging. If that packaging is damaged or in such a condition as to not offer adequate protection to the contents, we may refuse to accept it. The refund for transactions made by credit card will only be credited to the credit card used for the original order. Refunds for transactions made by cheque will be credited by cheque within 28 days. The customer's statutory rights apply.

12. Damaged or faulty goods policy
If the goods a client receives arrive with damaged packaging they should refuse to accept delivery and contact Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd. Acceptance of the delivery is confirmation that the package was received in good condition. If upon opening the package it is found that the product is damaged or incomplete they should contact Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd. within 7 days. The customer's statutory rights apply.

13. Custom duty on exported goods
Orders dispatched to destinations outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duty or custom charges prevailing in that country. It is the responsibility of the recipient to pay these or any excess charges if imposed. For import duty calculations in the instance of a single game being ordered, we state the contents of the package as ' Board Game' and the value as £20 sterling.

14. Amendments and modifications of these terms and conditions
The terms and conditions listed above may be amended or modified by and at the sole discretion of Dal Cassian (gamesmaker) Ltd, with immediate effect, at any time and without prior notification. Any amendments will be posted on this terms and conditions page, which invited 'Promotion Points' have exclusive access to, it is their responsibility to review this page from time to time for such amendments. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, that invalidity will not affect the other provisions.

15. Legal jurisdiction
The aforementioned terms and conditions will be subject to interpretation and enforcement in accordance with the laws of the England, and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction and rulings of the English courts.
