Well just about anybody can play. It's a game for
adults, older children and senior citizens. One of the most important
aspects of Crusade is that it is often played between different age groups and
genders. We suggest the lower end of the age range is 8 years old but many below
that age play and play well, as do many people in their 80's who have also
become captivated by the game.
The few rules there are, have been kept simple and easy to
remember. You don't even have to read how to play, if you'd prefer not to, as a
short audio cassette, included with each game, not only explains everything step
by step but also takes you through a demonstration game. The playing pieces are
large, clearly marked and easy to handle, which can be a considerable advantage
for many at each end of the age scale.
Not only is it a great game for playing at home, the compact
size when boxed, and the full size playing arena it quickly turns into, makes it
ideal for use on boats and in caravans, where space is at a premium and
entertainment is often self made.
Because the average game only takes about 15~20 minutes it is
played by many in their lunch break or in the local pub.
We don't promote Crusade as a gambling game but many people do
play for money, after all it is a game of skill and cunning as well as luck.
